You can get them in beige but remember they wont be like the pros skates....theirs are specially made to fit and cost hundreds!!!

The pros skates probs cost more than every single pair of shoes I own and trust me thats a lot xx

Yeah, their skates will be made to fit their foot shape...I prefer white ones too Laurziee, thats what ive got. ;D

And I also think the white ones are easier to clean...the beige ones have a faux suede finish....nightmare!! I would def recommend the white ones and like Laurziee said you can use danskins or boot covers to glam them up!! |

I'll get the white ones then. O can't beileve u have pay an extra £5 if u r a size 6 -8 . also any of u lot a member on skate UK websoite, I seennthe shop on their AND THEY GOT these zip up pants over jleggings. but I have very long legs. mm, and they gonna look like ankle swingers.
I might get me boots from ebay when i get paid on friday. cos I'm starting 2 hate tose hired ones. they smell so old and bad.

Eww yeah they do and the blades are blunt. As soon as I got my new skates I caught my toe pic and fell cos I wasnt used to them being that sharp. Luckily its the only time I've ever fallen since I started skating in December. God I bet I fall tomorrow now I've said that lol. So looking forward to my lesson tomorrow as usual xx |

have fun too!! U wush I didn't work at weekends, as I want 2 be at the Ice Rink., But don't think work would let me seop my weekend 2 Tuesday and Weds. lol Thats the thing, I'm getting used 2 them hire skates, n I think they are harder to skate in. Now a bit nervous getting new ones, cos I'm prob gfall over all them time. lol

Is it me or does Ice Skating takes over your life. I mean, from the 15th September I will be doing college, working and ice skating, Oh I gotta fit my cute Nephew in there aswell, I enrolled college well befre I stepped on the ICe and now having 2nd thoughts, as I paid for the course aswell. It not so bad as the 1st 5 weeks is a 2 hr prep, then after that its 15 weeksa placements for 2 days a week. I'm doing child de;levopment. Unless I used my Nephew!! lol I worry about it when the time comes. lol:)  |

Vicky, ice skating is fun and a great hobby, but don't let it take over!! College is far more important, and child development is a great course to do and very worthwhile!!

I agree with Becky. College is very important and you have to work hard to get what you want. I'm at college doing multimedia and web development and I really look forward to my lessons on Sundays but I know I have to work hard during the week at college. My coach is going to try and get me a job at one of the outdoor winter rinks. Hopefully the one in Glasgow cos then I could just go straight from college to work cos it's only down the road from my college I had a great lesson today. My coach Karen is just so much fun and we get on so well. She makes me laugh so much. We started work on Spirals today xx |

cool! as soon as I pass my driving test and get enough money i'm going to have lessons! I'm at college most of the time but i'll make sure sure i find ice time too |

Well I have 3 days off, nondays be college and overtime at work for 5 weeks then 15 weeks placement, so prob go on a wednesday. I do enjoy it but Ice Skating have 2 come last.
