Just had another amazing lesson with my coach. We have such a great time xx

I had eight 15 min lessons with Dan over the last few days

My originial 30 mins turned into an hour on Wednesday because Dan didnt want to stop because we were getting so far. Then I managed to get 30 mins on Thursday and then another 30 mins today

I had such an amazing time skating with him. He's just like he is on TV in DOI training. He's absolutely mad but really really really lovely and he's such a good coach. He pushed me really really hard and we worked through everything from levels 1 to 5 in an hour on Wednesday. Then we worked on level 6 yesterday and just went over it all today. Dan is mental and so much fun. He spent most of the time singing, dancing, making fun of me and hitting me with his gloves when I didnt have my arms out enough At one point he wanted me to go really fast round the rink so he grabbed my hands while I was going backwards and he started running and pushing me backwards lol then he did the same forwards. It was so scary. We also did crossovers and chassays really fast but I felt safer then because we were in the Kilian dance hold so I knew if I fell back then he was there.

You would all love a lesson with him, he makes you feel so relaxed and he's always there if you feel nervous. I caught my foot in a rut on the ice but he grabbed my hands so I didnt fall so he's always there to rescue you if you look like your going to fall.

Some of you may have got distracted though because he kept telling me to watch his hips while he was demonstrating. Not that any of you come to mind of course

I had two photos with him, one on Wednesday and one today. Today while my dad was sorting the camera to take the picture Dan told him he didnt have to hurry as he was enjoying the cuddle lol and he was the same on Wednesday

In all it was the best birthday I've ever had and as I said goodbye to Dan today he told me if i'm back down while he's still doing the lessons I've to give the arena a call xx

I'm on level 1, Still quite new 2 the Ice but it won't be long when I become best friends with ice, Everytime I go on the Ice I just love it and its great fun. I nearly let go of the barrier, I know the skates wants 2 let go but not quite there yet. I had some great tips from Frankie and Maria really encouraged me,

I might get a coach soon, but as I'm quite new, its better for group sessions, as ur all in the same boiat.

I started working on levels 5 and 6 at my group lesson on Sunday. My coach then started me working on 3 turns during my private lesson. They are so hard but I'll get there xx
